Good morning!
Today's post will be dedicated to the author of the story chosen by me, Kate Chopin.
American author Kate Chopin (1850–1904) is best-remembered for wring about a hundred short stories. Most of her best-known work focuses on the lives of sensitive and intelligent women. Chopin used her creative writing skills to express a point of view on different issues. She is considered to be the forerunner of the feminist authors of the 20th century.

Her major works were two short story collections: Bayou Folk (1894) and A Night in Acadie (1897).
Among her best-known short stories are: The Story of An Hour, Regret, A Pair of Silk Stockings, The Storm.
Chopin was widely recognized as one of the leading writers of her time. In 1915, Fred Lewis Pattee wrote, "some of [Chopin's] work is equal to the best that has been produced in France or even in America. [She displayed] what may be described as a native aptitude for narration amounting almost to genius."
